The Trust is supported by a small team who provide due diligence and review funding outcomes.

Simon Fourmy
Chief Executive
Simon was appointed in 2018 to establish the inaugural charity office for Hans and the late Julia Rausing and to support them in the development of their philanthropy. He continues to work closely with Sir Hans Rausing and the Trustee Board on funding strategy, finance and governance. He leads the charity team and is responsible for the overall delivery of the Trust’s work. Simon has over 25 years of experience in the trusts and foundations world, having previously held senior positions at the Wolfson Foundation and the Rothschild Foundation. He also managed development of The Illuminated River, a long-term art installation transforming the Thames at night with an orchestrated series of light works spanning nine bridges.

Daniel Chapman
Head of Grants and Director – Health, Welfare & Education
Daniel joined the Trust in June 2023 and oversees the Trust’s day-to-day grant-making, as well as leading on larger grants and initiatives within the Health and Welfare and Education funding themes. He has 30 years of experience in the voluntary sector including at grant-making foundations (Walcot Foundation, Church Urban Fund, Tearfund) as well as setting up and serving on the board of several community organisations dealing with foodbanks, debt counselling and youth employment.

Anne Dodwell
Director – Arts & Heritage
Anne joined the Trust in 2020, quickly aiding the Trust to pivot to the challenges of the pandemic and has led on the Trust’s open programmes. Day-to-day she can be found researching and developing more complex proposals and working alongside the Chief Executive and Head of Grants in matters of strategic planning. Anne has worked in the arts and cultural sector for the last 15 years, having worked at the National Lottery Heritage Fund, distributed Arts Council funding at Creative & Cultural Skills, and worked on project delivery at The Royal Opera House and V&A.

Harry Erskine
Grants Manager
Harry has been working with the Trust since 2020. As Grants Manager, he is responsible for a portfolio of grants in the mid and higher value range. His work is mainly within the Trust’s Education and Health and Welfare funding themes, and has in recent times encompassed projects supporting young people’s development, addressing the needs of offenders/ex-offenders, and poverty related work around provision of food and other essentials.

Ella Lane
Grants Officer, West Central London
Ella joined the Trust in 2021 and has provided support across a range of the Trust’s grant-making programmes. She now focuses on the Trust’s West Central London grants, identifying areas of need within its boroughs and primarily funding opportunities regarding Health and Welfare, and Education.

Amethyst Marie Rodgers
Grants Assistant
Amethyst joined the Trust in 2025 and works across the Trust’s Small Grants initiatives: giving time-limited, thematic funding across a varied portfolio of geographically concentrated and arts-focused organisations. They bring grant-making experience from their previous role at Global’s Make Some Noise, as well as a background in the arts and public programming.

Caroline Rolf
Operations Executive
Caroline joined the Trust in 2025 to support the Chief Executive in a wide-ranging role across operations, finance, HR and governance. She brings 25 years of experience in the arts sector, including founding and running a commissioning charity. Caroline has held similar operational roles at Clore Duffield Foundation and Freelands Foundation.

Rosamond Cooper
Grants Assistant, Gloucestershire
Roz joined the Trust in 2025 and is based in Gloucestershire. She provides support across a range of the Trust’s grant-making programmes with a particular focus on delivering the Gloucestershire small grants programme which provides local, time-limited funding opportunities.

Sarah Sharma
Grants Officer, Gloucestershire
Sarah joined the team in 2025 and is based in Gloucestershire where she has lived and worked for many years. Sarah brings over 20 years of experience working in the charity sector, most recently at the Gloucestershire Community Foundation. She focuses on the Trust’s Gloucestershire grants, identifying areas of need within the county including funding opportunities relating to Health and Welfare, Education and the Arts.
