Our first Annual Report
We are pleased to publish the first Annual Report and Financial Statements of The Julia Rausing Trust, covering our first period as an independent registered charity.
The establishment of the Trust marks a new chapter in a much longer history of philanthropy. It was created to honour the memory of Julia Rausing and to provide an enduring home for the values that shaped her giving with Sir Hans Rausing: generosity, long-term thinking, and a commitment to arts and heritage, education, and the welfare of people in need.
During our inaugural period, we awarded £132.3 million through 411 grants to organisations across the UK. Our Annual Report looks back at this first period, the organisations and causes we have supported, what we are beginning to learn, and how we intend to develop our work in the years ahead.
