As funders, we have come together around a shared concern: young women are experiencing worsening mental health outcomes, yet too many still struggle to access timely support that reflects their lived realities and meets them in the community spaces they trust and turn to for help.
We believe, and evidence shows, that services designed with, and specifically for, young women matter.
Through the Young Women in Mind 2026-2028 programme, we are pooling funding to expand young women’s access to established organisations delivering high quality, age and gender specific support. The programme will help charities to grow, strengthen or adapt existing therapeutic mental health services. This will enable more young women to access support that responds effectively to their needs, particularly where mental health needs are already present and risk becoming entrenched without timely and effective help.
