Key focus area: Gloucestershire

To begin a new series of updates highlighting our work across the Trust’s key focus areas, we are starting with Gloucestershire.
Between January and April 2026, the Trust awarded 35 grants totalling £988,951 to organisations across the county, supporting initiatives in health, welfare and education.
This includes:
- Cheltenham Festivals, helping families build confidence in reading at home
- Community Connexions, providing vital transport for those facing isolation
- Gloucestershire Nightstop, offering safe accommodation for young people
- Cotswold Boatmobility, bringing accessible boating to those with limited mobility
- Sunflowers Suicide Support, supporting those affected by suicide
- GL11 Community Hub, providing food bank and pantry services to the local community
- Play Gloucestershire, improving access to safe and inclusive play
With grants ranging in size from £3,000 to multi-year grants of £30,000 per year, these organisations are delivering practical, local support, from tackling loneliness and homelessness to improving access to education and community services.
We’re proud to support their continued impact across Gloucestershire.
