£2 million towards the Horizons Gallery.

The Science Museum is part of the world’s most significant museum group for science, technology, and engineering. A memorial grant was given towards creation of a new ‘Horizon’ gallery space in the existing Exploring Space Gallery, to spotlight the scientific developments and research that is making a difference to our lives today and extending what we know about ourselves, our world, our universe, and are shaping how our future might look. Horizons will be a springboard for discovery, engagement and discussion, inspiring future generations of scientists and engineers, which chimes with the focus on supporting young people present in much of Julia’s philanthropy.
