Spotlight: The King’s Trust

As The King’s Trust celebrates its 50th anniversary, we’re pleased to share the third video in our series of short films highlighting some of the organisations we support.

Founded in 1976, The King’s Trust helps young people from disadvantaged communities build the confidence and skills to live, learn, and earn. Over the past five decades, the charity has supported more than 1.3 million young people in the UK to build brighter futures.

In this video, Simon Fourmy, CEO of The Julia Rausing Trust, and Jonathan Townsend, CEO of The King’s Trust, discuss the charity’s impact, Julia Rausing’s long-standing commitment to empowering young people in London and the South West, and how she helped encourage other philanthropists to support The Trust’s Women Supporting Women Collective, which supports disadvantaged young women in the UK to access education, employment and self-employment.
