£1 million grant to Greenhouse Sports

The Julia Rausing Trust is delighted to announce a £1 million grant to Greenhouse Sports’ largest ever fundraising appeal For Every Future. This grant forms half of the £2 million match funding pot that doubles with every donation made in support of vital youth services this coming November.
Over the last two decades, the Trust has partnered with Greenhouse Sports’ to help young people facing poverty build brighter futures through the power of sport and mentoring. This £1 million grant will support Greenhouse Sports’ work across school communities, and its community centre in Westminster, over the next three years.
Simon Fourmy, Chief Executive of The Julia Rausing Trust, said: “Greenhouse Sports is an organisation that delivers deep, long-term change for young people. Their model combines the structure of sport with the trust of mentoring, a rare and powerful combination. We are proud to continue supporting Greenhouse Sports’ and to help ensure more children have the opportunities they deserve.”
Donald Barrell, CEO of Greenhouse Sports said: “The Julia Rausing Trust’s support goes far beyond funding. Their belief in our work has helped us grow, evolve, and reach thousands more children who deserve opportunity. Their generosity towards the For Every Future appeal is a statement of confidence – in our work, our coaches, and the potential of every young person we serve.”
The For Every Future campaign takes place from 10am on Sunday 2 November 2025 to 10pm on Monday 3 November 2025, during which time every pound donated will be doubled.
