Spotlight: Shout
The second video in our series of short films highlighting some of the organisations we support focuses on Mental Health Innovations and Shout, the UK’s first 24/7 crisis text service.
In this video, Simon Fourmy, CEO of the Trust, and Victoria Hornby, CEO of Mental Health Innovations, discuss the importance of accessible digital support services, particularly for young people. They reflect on the Trust’s early support of Shout and how philanthropy can help innovative ideas, allowing them to move from concept to reality through seed funding and long-term support.
Supporting mental health is a key focus within the Trust’s Health and Welfare theme. This commitment is also reflected in Young Women in Mind, our collaborative funding programme with the Pilgrim Trust and Prudence Trust, which aims to strengthen and scale effective, age-appropriate and gender-informed mental health support for girls and young women aged 14-25 in the UK.
